The nuts are smaller than their European cousins but are slightly sweeter.
Both my bushes are in full sun with no extra water. They are blooming right now.
The protective covering around the nuts as they grow looks like nothing else. Very cool.
It took one season for the squirrels to figure out what this is and now I can only get a ripe nut by accident.
