Buena Vista def. Garden City 46-33 in Area Round

MIDLAND, Texas (KOSA) – The Buena Vista Longhorns beat the Garden City Bearkats to win the Area Championship.

What was an eight-point lead at the halftime break became a 13-point win. Buena Vista even outscored Garden City by eight points in the third quarter.

The Longhorns celebrated the victory, and the Bearkats went to the Buena Vista bench to honor the late Jackie and Jaden Jurado twins, who the Buena Vista team has dedicated the season to.

Garden City’s season ends at 15-18, while Buena Vista moves on to the Regional Semifinal round.
