GARDEN PLANS, ATTEMPTING A SNAIL ROLL PLANTING TECHNIQUE AND ANTIQUE SHOPPING!! Enjoy!

We bought our house June 21, 2024. Had the interior renovated. And now the journey begins! So much work to be done on the land and the exterior. We’ll do what we can ourselves and with the help of friends and neighbors we’ll get the rest done. Our 400+ year old Trullo is a work in progress! I hope you enjoy the process! We are in the countryside between Ceglie Messapica and Martina Franca. It’s called the Itria Valley. Lots of rolling hills and pine forests. Not what you think when you think of Puglia, if you have done research. But we are only 25 minutes from the coast with lots of beautiful beaches and blue zones. The Tour of Italy went through our city this year and biking is huge here. We bought 2 mountain bikes and will start to venture out. Shawn is a big cyclist. I’m not but I do like a nice ride every now and then. Our 2 dogs are settling in and are enjoying the Italian sunshine. I’m hoping to post weekly on Sundays. So subscribe to follow along. Ciao for now. Renzo

  1. Hi guys your so lucky getting outside, ive got jobs to do in my garden, its been raining constantly in the uk ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

  2. Way to upcycle! I hope your sweetpeas take off! Have you ever made nasturtium pesto? It's pretty to grow and delicious. The eucalyptus plant is highly flammable so best not to have it close to fire pits, wood structures or your home. Love your garden scarf. Very stylish. Shawn is so funny ๐Ÿ˜„ And has knack for decorating.

  3. Liking your pergola idea..coriander is cilantro I thinkโ€ฆwould love to see the horses if I may ask for next time ๐Ÿฅฐ

  4. smart with the seeds and the celery, very resourceful. I think without the trees it may increase the ambient heat around the hourse. Oh well, a pergola will be cool. ; appreciate the shoppiing tour. Ahhhh aperol spritz on a sunny winter day. Enjoy Jim from Hawaii 1'' a minute during rain storm. Delugio.

  5. โœณโœดโ‡love sweet peas ,lots of great plans ahead for you guys, all the best thank you for sharing another fun episode, cheers.โ˜ฎ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’Ÿ

  6. hmmm, I think some local Italian grannies would give better advice than the Internet for gardening in the area. More experience, less plastic …but yay. bandana..looks great. I think the celery idea is very cool. Looks like a fun day..be careful cutting trees on windy days, taking down eucalyptus is good because they can toxify the soil.and also drop limbs. I enjoyed this video working around your home. Best wishes for your future harvest and Arbor โค

  7. Gurr8 menu of your interests: court garden and treasure market. Eye was totally enthralled as you both made decisions about the placing of the corner posts. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ’ช Your haircuts accent the dashing Italian culture so well. Well done, Shawn and Renzo. ๐ŸŒž๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŒž
