MAGNOLIA (25News Now) – The owner of LJ’s Garden Cafe in Magnolia has worked in food service since she was 16. Now, she owns one of the most well-known breakfast restaurants in Putnam County.
Laurie Smith has been the owner of LJ’s for about 14 years. She serves a little bit of everything.
Smith’s goal is for customers enjoy a restaurant-style meal without feeling like they left home.
LJ’s is at 114 N. Chicago Street in Magnolia.
Tuesday and Friday, the restaurant is open 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
On Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday the hours are 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. LJ’s is closed on Monday.
