My husband got this jade plant from his sister as a gift over six years ago (possibly longer) and it has been in the same pot ever since. It hasn’t been unhealthy as far as I can tell but all it’s ever gotten is light and water. I feel like it should be repotted or something? Or fed something?
But it is massive and I am just not sure what to do or how to start. The pot width at the widest point is likely 1.5 feet or so.

It’s already going to be difficult to take it out of that pot
It needs far more light. Apart from that, you’re hardly gonna take it out of that pot.
This poor Jade will limp along like this forever if you let it, as long as you don’t over water it.
What it really needs is a lot more sun. The sunniest southern facing window you have is the place for it.
Needs more light. Those new leaves are too small
It is reaching towards the light. I recommend either moving it to a window where the light is clearer or hanging a grow light above it.
Surprised that no one has said this yet –
Since it’s been in that pot the entire time, it is almost certainly root-bound and needs up-potting if you want it to continue to grow larger. Esp if it’s never had a soil change-out, there’s a good chance the potting medium may have compacted around the roots (depending on what was used).
The question here is: which would you like to keep intact, the plant or the pot? B/c the only way to get the plant out intact at this point is to shatter the pot w/a hammer. Have fun 😃
Otherwise, if you want to keep it as-is, you’ll probably want to get comfortable with top-pruning it from time to time.
Agreed that it looks a little under-watered (and would not complain about more light). It could just be that. But if the droopy leaves don’t plump and perk up after watering, then it’s likely a root issue.
And yes, your instinct is a good one…six years in, it probably would like a little more advanced care to help it continue to thrive.
ps – It’s a gorgeous specimen, you seem to have mostly given it an appropriate level of neglect to this point. Good job! (no /s)
