I just got this big philodendron bipennifolum 'sun red' a few weeks ago ago. A few days ago I set it up with a purple grow light for 8 hours since during the day the room gets medium bright but not I credibly bright The new growth is fine and it's still growing new leaves but the coloration is really weird. The brown/yellow isn't crispy it feels the same texture as the rest of the leaf. The last picture is from the day I got it, so it definitely has some natural discoloration but I'm not sure how much of it is normal.

grow lights shouldn’t be purple. and that does not have the leaf shape of a bipennifolium, as best i can tell.
