We had a summerhouse built nearly 4 years ago, on top of some existing foundations that were in place already for an old workshop. I don't know how deep the foundations go, but they must be pretty deep, as foundation wise nothing seems to have moved in the 5 years we've been here despite them being very close to this large tree.

This tree has always been pushing through the boundary since we've been here. When the summerhouse was built, I dont remember exactly how close the roof was to the tree, they definitely built it closer than I would have liked, but unfortunately I never measured it.

The first picture is from the right hand side of the summerhouse, the second is the view from the back showing how much the tree is leaning over at the base, again it been like this since we moved in, but I cant be sure if it's getting worse, or if it is how quickly.

The trunk is around 15" in diameter, and as far as I can tell the tree is pretty healthy, but I'm no expert!

How much of a problem is it in its current state, and what sort of timelines am I likely looking at for it's progression? I suppose now would be a good time to speak to the house behind to at least start the conversation.
