Hey guys! I rescued two different trees from friends, and they are currently on two very different paths. I really want to make them happy, but I’m feeling a bit stuck.
Plant #1 (pictures 1-2): This one hasn't been doing well since I got it. Despite my best efforts to stabilize it, the health seems to be declining (leaf drop/browning). I haven't seen any new growth, and I’m worried I’m losing it.
Plant #2 (pictures 3-4): This one is actually doing okay! It has started to bridge/branch out on its own, but I have a gut feeling it could be even healthier. The growth feels a bit slow/stagnant lately.
Both plants stand by the window and get all the light possible. I'm watering it once the upper level of the soil is dry (every 10sh days), no AC around.
My Big Question: I am mentally prepared to propagate/chop them if that’s what’s best for a "reset," but I have never done it before and I’m terrified of killing them.
I’m open to any and all advice on soil, light, or surgical interventions. Thank you!
