I have the ahopeguarden system. I filled it with bottled water and started everything about 2 weeks ago. I leave it on the automatic cycle for the lights and pump.
How do I know when to change the water? I guess I assumed the water levels would go down so I filled it all the way up to the 3.0L mark, but its still at the same point. Is there signs to look for as to when to change it or should I just regularly change it every few weeks or so?

Follow up question: once the roots start getting bigger/longer, do I need less water?

TIA for any help/suggestions!

You don’t change the water unless the amount of nutrients is wrong or there’s mold in the water due to failed airpumps.

Plants are still tiny, they don’t drink much. Generally you can swap nutrients if the plants look like stressed or they have other issues, or you’re running out of nutrients.
