Former owners put down St. Augustine in the front yard (western facing, heavy sun). Wouldn't have been our choice, but tried to make it work. A chinch bug infestation took out some large patches last year, and it just never really grew back. There are patches of Bermuda and zoysia in the lawn as well.
Any ideas on how to get these brown spots green again? No interest in resodding. Thinking of just laying down seed for a more drought tolerant grass might be the option, but definitely open to suggestions.
