I started hydroponics back in November. I had a bout of root rot in my strawberries because I didn’t groom and scrub their dirt roots before putting in the system. I lost a few plants. Unfortunately root rot set in just as I had about 40 green berries growing. Cut back all their roots and most of their leaves and treated them with hydrogen peroxide. The survivors have regrown their root systems put on new leaves and they are just starting to flower again. I have harvested 2 and a half large bowls of salad!

a cycle with just mkp in your reservoir will not only sanitize your water, your media and existing rot, but cure sections of roots that are infected so they can begin regrowing

Great job on the system r/strawberryhydroponic:)
