Ask A Master Gardener returns in April at the Aiken County Farmers Market. Master Gardeners will soon be available to answer horticultural questions each Saturday morning. Come with questions such as the following: What is this weed? What can I plant now? When to fertilize my lawn?
This is a good time also for high school seniors to ask their counselors how to apply for AMGA scholarships. The Aiken Master Gardener high school scholarship program is an annual program whereby the association recognizes and supports high school students who reside or study in Aiken or Edgefield counties and intend to study programs in agriculture at a university or college of their choice.
