bottom leaves are getting yellow, crisping up and falling off.

gets adequate light, haven't watered in 6 weeks, I usually water every 7 to 8 weeks (last picture is how dry the soil currently is) am I underwatering cos I'm sure I'm not overwatering it.

    Normal process of absorption seen on lower !leaves. New growth looks great.

    Underwatering also can be harmful. They grow up between those terms, so they’ll need more water or a bigger pot over time.

    Check those leaves got soft or wrinkled when you pinch it(softly), after 3-4 weeks you watered and twice a week.

    If you water like that, they won’t be overwatered.

    How’s those leaves now? I mean the upper leaves.

    Nothing major wrong. Your jade is just too dry. Bottom leaves yellowing + crispy = it’s been thirsty too long.
    7–8 weeks between watering is a bit much for jade plants.

    Give it a good soak, then water again when the soil is fully dry (usually 3–4 weeks).
