One of my Armatocereus matucanensis (from Lunin Valle, Peru) is producing another segment, something that hadn't happened in two or three years.
I was taking some photos and I was intrigued by these black spots. I never paid much attention to it, but today I started wondering if it could be harmful. They are restricted to the growing part and are hard. However, the plants don't seem to be affected by it.
