SOLOMONS, Md. — Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center is now accepting entries for the 17th annual outdoor fair house exhibit.
Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center is now accepting entries for the 17th annual outdoor exhibit, Fairies in the Garden. We welcome all things magical, whimsical and fun — gnome homes, dragon lairs, elf abodes, goblin grottos — let your imagination run wild! All creations will be placed in the woods, lawn areas and trails of the sculpture garden to create a magical experience for guests of all ages. This is a non-juried show. Entries are due March 22.
The exhibition isn’t just limited to fairy houses — on its official form, the center said it accepts “all things magical, whimsical, and fun,” including gnome homes, dragon lairs, elf abodes and goblin grottos, and encouraged participants to “let your imagination run wild.”
All creations will be placed in the woods, lawn areas and trails of the sculpture garden to create a magical experience for guests of all ages. This is a non-juried show.
Anyone interested in participating should also keep in mind that there are two categories for this exhibition: Fairies in the Garden and the Children’s Fairy Garden.
“Fairies in the Garden” is open to any individual or group who can create something durable that will last outside for at least five months. These creations will be placed outside in the woods and on the trails.
The “Children’s Fairy Garden” category is best suited for young creators who want to create something magical but are unable to make something that will last five months outside in the elements. These entries will be placed in the Children’s Fairy Lolly natural play area and will be removed as they disintegrate.
Interested participants should fill out the online form.
