Spring is here, and we’re getting started with planting for the new growing season.
In this video, we prepare soil, refresh compost, sow seeds, and plan what fruits and vegetables we’ll be growing this year. From melons and tomatoes to peppers, basil, leeks, and beetroot, we’re setting everything up for a productive season ahead.
We also share tips on gardening in a warm climate, managing water carefully, and making the most of container and courtyard growing spaces. If you enjoy gardening, self-sufficiency, or seasonal planting projects, we hope this video gives you inspiration for your own growing plans.

All that rain might have washed the nutrients out of the compost in the raised beds. You should give the melons and other things plenty of plant food.
Looking good well done guys ❤️❤️❤️🍹🍹🍹🍸🍸🍸
Have you tryed to let the chicken out in the daytime
Great to watch Sharon, Andy, planted some if my seeds this morning, and cut back my rose bushes ,beautiful in the garden today xx
The Piel de Sapo melons ("Toad Skin") are known as "Santa Claus" melons because they keep so well (until Christmas!?) Got to add these to our planting list, which is a bit 'veg heavy'. We're about five hours west from you guys (in south-west Castilla La-Mancha) and about 745m above sea-level in the hills (north of Alcudia Valley and Sierra Madrona), and this is our first Spring/Summer. We're really not sure what will/will not grow well, but my missus is stealing every single idea from you Sharon! Good luck with the garden guys, will be following closely!
Fantastic! Fingers crossed that it will do well.
What a beautiful corner where you placed that planter with the melons.
