Can I grow this avocado seed?

Hi everyone, this seed was in my avocado when I opened it and it seems that it started growing (I’m new to this so I’m not sure if it’s viable). Can I grow it and if so how should I do it? Should I peel it and put it in water or not peel it and put it in soil?
