I have a small wall mounted hydroponics set up. The return pipe (darker of the 2 pipes and yes I need to clean) to my reservoir (bucket) gurgles every few seconds. Seems the water pools at the top of the pipe until there’s enough to cause it to flow into the bucket.
What’s the simplest way to reduce or stop the gurgling?
(Ignore what’s in the bottom slots. Wife is trying to save some cuttings)

Extend the return pipe below the waterline in your bucket. No more air traps = no more gurgle. Simplest fix I’ve found!
As u/Janet_DWillett said. + Just wanted to also add that I would be sceptical to use the last plant-slot, based on root-clogging ( If it’s a timer-based / automatic system ) You don’t want it to overflow and end up with water-damage if it overflows.. – Just wanted to make the point, If it’s inside… You really want to make sure that the return is actually a return, and not a possible clog / blockage. . . Just saying.
