Recently bought a house and this thing popped up in our garden bed. Google has not been helpful. It recieves Southeast sun, only watered when it rains, and is located in Southwest Missouri USA. It looks very interesting!
Oh how fascinating! Is it constrained by mesh? Upvote to increase your visibility. I’m following now.

Looks like a bunch of daffodils trying to push out of the landscape fabric.

Please try and remove that landscaping fabric. It is causing this constrained growth.

Definitely spring bulbs trying to sprout. My guess is they had a landscaper throw down fabric and mulch to tidy up the premises before the sale and they couldn’t go around the daffodils because by summer they’re back in the ground.
The correct way to do things would be using a thicker layer of mulch and no fabric, but landscapers and/or homeowners trying to sell both love to cheap out on projects like this.
Cut the fabric anywhere it looks like a plant is trying to pop up like this and you should get some lovely bulb displays this spring.
