I would suggest you to find front of the tree.
When it is done, visualise how you want to see your tree in the future. Find main trunk line. Cut branches that are growing from trunk to your side. Wire and shape branches in position you like. Find direction where main branches and first layer branches will go. Then you can cut unnecessary leaves – that grow on the trunk or make cleaner branches.
