Does anybody in this group have experience with growing pachycaul plants indoors and under lights? I live in central Ohio, and it is too cold for such plants to be outside for a good amount of the year.

I am currently specifically interested in Bursera, Operculicarya, and Cyphostemma.

What sort of lighting would be required for the times of the year that they would need to be inside? I have 300W Viparspectra XS3000 lights that can be dimmed between 20% and 100%. Would these be sufficient? If I recall correctly I have them hung about 30 inches above the shelf surface below them.

What sort of substrate would be recommended? I keep most of my caudiciforms in an 80/20 mix consisting of very coarse pumice/peat with some nutricoat thrown in. Would this work for these plants?

Any other recommendations, suggestions, or anything I may have not thought of asking?

I have included a picture of an Operculicarya pachypus to garner attention. This plant is NOT mine.
