    How deep are mother in law tongues in that pile? I ask because I find those don’t compost quickly due to the waxy leaves. You may be better off chopping them up, or they may form kind of a mat/barrier for plant roots for several months.

    I’m afraid you’re going to have a wall of snake plants next year. But maybe not, I’m in the tropics and they love to set down roots.
