The delonix pumila I have had some lava rocks on the soil surface and over time I noticed this band of trunk shrinking. It’s not soft, but just shriveled only where the rocks were. below the surface you can see that the trunk is normal again so it’s literally just the section where the top dressing was. does anyone know what this is from or if it’s rot?
