I’d personally dissect it to check for pests while trying to protect the remaining eyes to plant. You never know what you may introduce into your garden until it’s too late.
It’s fine. Potato’s are rhizomes, which means they only need part of themselves to reproduce. You could chit it and then cut out the wormy parts if you’re concerned.
