Just like every other gardening game on Roblox, mutations and traits are core mechanics of Garden Horizons. These will alter the appearance of the affected fruits and also add a value multiplier. So, if you want to make Shilling quickly in Garden Horizons, let your fruits catch mutations and traits. This guide lists all Garden Horizons mutations and traits, how they work, and their respective multipliers so you’ll know exactly which ones to target for maximum profit.

All Garden Horizons Mutations – Multipliers, Calculations, & How to Get

Most of the mutations are weather-related and will be applied automatically to your fruits. You don’t really have to do anything to get these mutations. Each plant has a separate chance of getting mutated. So, whether you fill your garden to the brim or just place down a single high-rarity plant in the plot, it makes no difference.

See the table below for a list of all mutations in Garden Horizons, their multipliers, and their obtainment methods.

MutationMultiplierHow to GetSoakedIncreases your fruit’s value by 1.2x.Applied during Rainy weather.FoggyIncreases your fruit’s value by 1.2x.Applied during Foggy weather.ChilledIncreases your fruit’s value by 1.5x.Applied during Snowy weather.FloodedIncreases your fruit’s value by 1.75x.Applied during Rainy weather.SilverIncreases your fruit’s value by 2.0x.Applied randomly to fruits, without any event.SnowyIncreases your fruit’s value by 2.0x.Applied during Snowy weather.SandyIncreases your fruit’s value by 2.5x.Applied during the Sandstorm weather.FrostbitIncreases your fruit’s value by 3.5x.Applied during Snowy weather.MossyIncreases your fruit’s value by 3.5x.[TBA]ShockedIncreases your fruit’s value by 4.5x.Applied during Storm weather.MuddyIncreases your fruit’s value by 5.0x.[TBA]GoldIncreases your fruit’s value by 5.0x.Applied randomly to fruits, without any event.StarstruckIncreases your fruit’s value by 6.5x.Applied during Starfall weather.

Weather events in Garden Horizon are locked to the Seed Shop. Whenever the Seed Shop restocks, the weather will change. That also means each weather event will last for 5 minutes, giving you enough time to plant new seeds and try to get mutations on them.

Mutations in Garden Horizons will stack additively. So, if you get the Starstruck and the Muddy mutation on a carrot, here’s how the calculation will work:

Starstruck (6.5x) + Muddy (5.0x) = 11.5x * 30 (Carrot’s Base Price)

So, a Carrot with the Starstruck and Muddy mutation will sell for 345 Shillings. Read on to see how the Traits will be added to this calculation.

All Garden Horizons Traits – Multipliers, Calculations, & How to Get

Apart from the mutations listed above, your fruits can have three Traits as they grow. These represent the different growth stages of your fruits. See the table below for a more detailed breakdown of each.

TraitMultiplierDescriptionUnripeIncreases your fruit’s value by up to 1.9x.Applied during the early-stages of the fruit’s growth.RipenedIncreases your fruit’s value by up to 2.9x.Applied during the mid-stages of the fruit’s growth.LushIncreases your fruit’s value by 3x.Applied when the fruit is fully grown.

You can harvest the fruit at any stage you want. So, for example, if a fruit is Unripe, you can harvest it, but you’ll only get a maximum of 1.9x value for it. But if you wait for it to become Lush, you’ll get 3x the value.

An important thing to know about these traits is that they only progress while you’re in the game. Moreover, the progress of these traits is directly related to the growth time of each plant. So, plants that grow quickly will also become Lush quickly, and plants that take longer to grow will take longer to progress from Unripe to Ripened to Lush.

What makes these traits so important is that their multipliers will stack multiplicatively with all other mutations on your plant. Let’s continue with the Carrot’s example from above to better understand it. So, you get a Lush Carrot with the Starstruck and Muddy Mutation. Here’s how the calculation will work:

Lush (3.0x) * [Starstruck (6.5x) + Muddy (5.0x)] = 3.0x * 11.5x * 30 (Carrot’s Base Price)

So, a Lush Carrot with the Startstruck and Muddy mutation will sell for 1,035 Shillings,
