Should I still transfer these green onions that sprouted mold into soil? Are the stems I just cut still good to eat?
I’m not sure if this is the right place to post, but I’ve been neglecting to transfer these green onions I’ve been putting in water to root. And when I finally went to cut off the greens, I saw this mold.
yup, take the slimy bits off maybe give it a wash to make it easy and stick that guy in soil. it will do just fine. I often transfer items from soil to hydroponics (dutch bucket) and vice versa
