As the title says im completely new to growing any sort of plant at all. I started with these tomatoes and have been worried about keeping them in kind of ideal condution until its time to be transplanted to larger pots outside after the weather stabilizes. I have everything in temporary 1 gallon pots and they get watered every 2 days or so. I have trimmed some of the lower leaves that were touching soil or looked shriveled up. The plants in the second picture were started in an aerogarden and are growing quite a bit slower than my plants in picture 1. Is there anything I should be doing or considering to keep these guys going strong?

Put a fan on them! It’ll help strengthen the stems for the wind outside

They are looking really nice. Next, you should probably transplant them into larger pots, like some 6 inch if those pots are 4 inch. Also get a fan to blow air on them constantly, in order to strengthen the stem.

They look great. Make sure you have a fan. They need air circulation so the soil doesn’t get moldy and attract fungi and pests. Watch Y tube videos
