Indoor plant newbie here and could use some guidance. I’m planning to repot this plant into a larger container but I’m not sure if I chose the right size. The pot looks bigger than it actually is, the inside dimensions are 9 inches deep and 14.5 inches wide.
I’m also wondering if this might actually be more than one plant in the current pot. If that’s the case, should I separate them when I repot?
I was planning to use the soil mix shown in the photo. Does that seem appropriate?
Thanks in advance for any advice!

Wow! Yes, you definitely have more than one plant in that pot. When you take the plants out, shake the soil off and it should be easier to identify separate plants.
I’d say just keep one plant per pot, but it’s up to you! Some keep multiple plants in one pot to make it look fuller, but often those plants compete for nutrients more than if it is just one plant. No wrong way!
Oh. My. God. That is the most plants I’ve ever seen in one pot. You’ll need to separate those. Looks like you’ll have at least 7-10.
I guess Home Depot was a good bargain.
