You’ll find a tiny green worm (think like inch worm size) in there somewhere and sometimes hiding under the leaf. I keep a small water cup by my cabbage and pick them off and chuck them into the water.
You’ll have to check daily for about a week. Turn the leaves over and check too. I found in the morning and in the evening are the best.
