The patio crew is back and it’s getting real over here. They wrapped up the framing, brought in more gravel, and laid all the rebar, so we are officially one step away from concrete. I mostly stayed out of the way, shuffled a few garden pieces around, and moved the fountain pedestal into the greenhouse which might honestly be my favorite little upgrade so far. It’s finally starting to look like something…oh and tomorrow is pour day.

Robbie, the patio looks awesome! It will be a great place to sit & chill, after a hard day of work. 💕🇺🇸
The planter could eventually go on the countertop of your outdoor kitchen😊😊
How about moving that planter to your new patio or step… you’ll have plenty of room for some planters now! Love how the cement work is making your place look larger!! It’s going to be great when it’s completed. Congrats on another milestone!
It’s looking so good! I know it’s too late but you could’ve had the guys doing your patio make a small cement tray for that pot in the greenhouse with any extra they had. Maybe that wouldn’t work but just a thought. It gets me excited to get my own greenhouse…. Someday 😂
Hello Robbie en Brent, which trees are you going to plant at the entrance to the garden. Grtj frieda from belgium. 😊
Hi Robbie,
Have you thought of locating the side yard fountain to the back along the fence opposite the faux door. It would look especially nice with the four new pedistals and planters. The changes are so exciting. I can't wait to see it all happen.
Hey Robbie! I think putting those fancy pansies in that decorative pot would be beautiful. Sit on your new step by the door. I also love the idea of a sliding glass door, but I think I love your idea better entering the door and putting two windows on the other side. It’ll be easier for Freya so you could leave the back door open and she can go in and out of that screen. The concrete work is absolutely gonna look gorgeous. I’m so excited for you guys. ❤❤❤🎉
On your front deck
I See what you mean. "It's gon be Amazing!" 😂
This has been so much fun watch! Thanks for sharing. Are you possibly thinking about moving the lion fountain to the secret garden? That would be awesome but wherever y’all decide to put it I’m sure will be fabulous. That pretty planter would look great on your new step by the back door!
Maybe put the bins together and put a trellis to hide them …..rather then flanked bins 😂❤….a sedum living roof would hide the plastic ❤❤…you’ve lots of sun so they’ll do perfect xx
Excited to see the new area xx
Brent mentioned a family emergency, pray it all turned out ok❤
How will you be able to get to the actual house when the concrete will be that close to the house, if you have to do some repairs to the house. But it all looks so good, can’t wait to the finish. We are so much older than you too, and all the different steps would not work for us.
It’s looking great, it’s so exciting for you and Brent. I’m excited to see it when it’s done. I hesitate to ask (because I always buy things you have if they’re available) but, where did you get the tall plant stand in the corner near where you placed the pedestal and fountain? Thanks again for another great video 😊
This is such a fun project. Your excitement is infectious.
Hi Robbie. I hope family is doing okay.
When you transplanted the clematis, did you forget to add your usual root stimulate to the plant hole and to water it in?
I am subscribed
I can feel your excitement! It's going to be beautiful! Guess what, you "think" out loud and your thought process is exactly like mine! Lol " great minds think alike" 😂 What you need to do is Win the lottery and be able to garden and design to your hearts content! I need to do that too,my friend! Wouldn't that be wonderful! ( Because you & I have great taste!) From Georgia with love ❤️
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
You could put the planter on your new step.
Robbie that looks so different, I love it!! Can't wait to see it as all finished and planted up. Your seasons are earlier starting than ours. So you're always great to give me motivation.
Have loved the changes over the last few years.
Well done to you both
When you move the gazebo back onto the new patio, will you put it back in the old location? You might consider centering it on the beautiful new patio!
It makes your yard look so much bigger and open instead of being so closed in.
Its gonna be sooooooooo cool! 👍👍👏👏💞
Robbie, what hellebore variety is that plant in your yard?
The progress is unbelievable
Words cannot describe how excited I am for you guys ❤ "
For some reason, YouTube unsubscribed me. I remedied that as soon as I noticed, but thought you'd want to know.
I think if you put that orchid pot on top of the stand and put the fountain on top of the pot that would look very pretty!
It's looking beautiful Robbie. Can't wait to see how you decorate it. You could put your beautiful pot next to the door on the new step.. Just a thought. 🙂 Looking forward to the big reveal..
You are so awesome! I started watching you because of Janie. I still enjoy watching her videos once in a while.
However, I watch yours every chance I get all the way through!!
Robbie, your excitement is so infectious. It reminds me of myself because I get excited just like you do. Some of my friends think it’s a bit weird but oh well. Very happy for you guys. It’s going to look great!
Robbie I live in SoCal, LA, and I'm planning on getting new driveway and patio. Can't wait. P.S. i kind of know the ballpark what you're paying. My quote is Bout $20k!! But I want
it!!!
Couldn't you make the bed opposite of the ac unit longer so the pathways are even? Or is there a reason the pathway opposite the ac needs to stay that length?
Its looking amazing! Also I'm glad you decided not to film the workers, its all about having respect, I'm pretty sure they will feel weird if someone record them cant wait to see when its all done 🙂
Hey! I’m loving the Reno. You need to put a big mangava in that planter. They don’t need much water or soil. It’s beautiful.
Looking great guys! Your going to enjoy the extra space, woot woot. 🎉
Do your construction guys know you are a garden content creator and they can see themselves on YouTube? Also, I'm watching from Minneapolis, do you have any ice action going on in your town/county, neighboring towns, etc?
💜💜💜💜
Robbie, the patio looks amazing. You are going to enjoy this space so much!!
Hi Robbie! This is so exciting! I really like watching the workers. They are so fast, and good, at what they do. The pedestal in the greenhouse with the fountain on it looks so good there. I'll bet that you and/or Brent could make a base/saucer for your pot. The cement pot that was on the pedestal is so pretty. I knw you'll find the perfect spot for it after all of the cement work is done and things are back in place. Thank you so much for sharing!
Very exciting
I think the problem with the pot and pedestal is it's so small in front of the large lemon cypress. Just put somewhere else.
