GROTON — Home gardeners looking to bring a professional touch to their yards can learn about matrix planting, a naturalistic, layered gardening technique, during a virtual program with designer Deborah Chud at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 24, via Zoom.
Matrix planting has been a top trend in landscape design in recent years, but many homeowners haven’t tried it because they aren’t sure where to begin.
Chud’s presentation will provide practical guidance for selecting plants, arranging them in natural patterns, and creating a garden that is both beautiful and sustainable.
The program will be recorded, and all registrants will receive the recording within 48 hours. It is made possible in part by the Groton Public Library Endowment Trust and presented in cooperation with several area libraries.
Registration is required, and participants will receive a Zoom link by e-mail. For more information, or to register, visit the Groton Public Library’s website at gpl.org.
