I changed this Black velvet a few days ago to semihydro, and already tought someparts at the stem are a little bit mushy, but hoped it is just a bit of the old leafs…
Her new leaf just died and had a brown tipp
Today i saw the Stem rotting "inside out".

Choped everything mushy of. Now i put it in hydrogenperoxide for 30min.
I would later but cinnamon on it and lay it in damp Spaghnum, i guess. To Repot in semihydro could be too much for now ?
What would you do ?

Honestly I’d just put it Spaghnum for a bit and then into airy soil mix, wait until it recovers then maybe try again in semi hydro
Also knowing that alocasias likes airy soil it’s possible what caused rot could’ve been amount of water, incorrect semi hydro set, transition period etc
It should grow back since roots look healthy, good luck with growing
