  1. I’ve always been fascinated by the Hotel Chelsea, and I’m really glad to hear the renovation was done so thoughtfully. I’m wondering if adding a gallery to showcase its rich artistic history was ever considered as part of the project?

  2. Yet another ruined historical landmark, character completely destroyed by gentrification. Weeding out almost all the long-term residents by years of construction noise and rent hikes. Little by little, Manhattan has just been revised and rewritten so that regular people can't live there. Whatever it was, the grit of The City has been completely washed away, the interesting people, the working people can't even live there anymore. No, let's make EVERYTHING about the `uber wealthy- how dull. 🤨🤔🙄🥴😓

  3. Incredible, What a great thing to do, bless you for keeping the Chelsea and the spirit of the Chelsea alive.

  4. A mind-blowing world unto itself. Just wow! Thank goodness Mr MacPherson has restored this amazing piece of history in the most delightful way.

  5. I actually made it a point to walk inside and sit down in the lobby with my coffee over the summer. It was bustling and nobody bothered me. It's great to see this beauty restored.

  6. Listing to a soulless rich person talk about the history of the Chelsea hotel is really sad. Wish a community could live there still.
