Why is this filmed with the crackly film edges that spark light?
I would watch it otherwise
I’ve always been fascinated by the Hotel Chelsea, and I’m really glad to hear the renovation was done so thoughtfully. I’m wondering if adding a gallery to showcase its rich artistic history was ever considered as part of the project?
I rented a room for one month in 1976 aprox..it was an exciting time for me I was around 23 ❤✌💃🐱🌹🌷🌈
Yet another ruined historical landmark, character completely destroyed by gentrification. Weeding out almost all the long-term residents by years of construction noise and rent hikes. Little by little, Manhattan has just been revised and rewritten so that regular people can't live there. Whatever it was, the grit of The City has been completely washed away, the interesting people, the working people can't even live there anymore. No, let's make EVERYTHING about the `uber wealthy- how dull. 🤨🤔🙄🥴😓
I stayed there with my girlfriend in 1993. I ate at the El Quijote many times with dates.
Incredible, What a great thing to do, bless you for keeping the Chelsea and the spirit of the Chelsea alive.
A mind-blowing world unto itself. Just wow! Thank goodness Mr MacPherson has restored this amazing piece of history in the most delightful way.
This fop has never met a bohemian.
Wow how cool👏👍👍👍✌️😁🫶🥃🥃🥃🪶💙
You did a great job 👍
I was a mid level dealer in the city in 93. 94 and we worked with people at the Chelsea daily back then it was awesome
The hotel itself is the biggest piece of his art collection.
I actually made it a point to walk inside and sit down in the lobby with my coffee over the summer. It was bustling and nobody bothered me. It's great to see this beauty restored.
Nico !!!
Didn’t the Beats stay there before rock players?
Incredible ❤
Listing to a soulless rich person talk about the history of the Chelsea hotel is really sad. Wish a community could live there still.
So nice!
Awesome! ☀️🇨🇦
Ok Architectural Digest continues to level up, this is absolutely Fantastic!
place is a shithole.
