Adding ** it does have random little red berries that are hard maybe the size of lady bugs.
Pretty sure when we moved into this house it was about 2 feet tall. It’s basically a tree now.

I mean, maybe you should trim it so it didn’t cause problems for the garage door or the wall, but other than that what’s the problem? to it’s normal size?

Hedge clippers. Holly is really resilient and will fill back in next season. But you gotta trim every season to keep it the right shape/size.
You have to trim your hollys to the size you want them, otherwise some cultivars will become 30 foot bushes.

Holly shit. That’s a huge bush. You can cut it back quite a bit, I’d suggest using pruners so you get some different depth and it doesn’t all bounce back at the same time.

You may have to cut it down to a stump. That bush grows extremely large and its roots are triple it actually growth. If your house is on a slab, it will mess up your plumbing When it’s that close to the house.
