  1. Fantastic opportunity to learn fir those less experienced ā¤
In a future episode, I would like to learn specifically how to correctly prune hydrangea and how to care for them properly. 🌱

  2. Loved your episode! What a find. Could you tell us all about planting potatoes next month? We have a small patch we would like to grow potatoes on and I will be on the look out for tips and tricks.

    Thank you.

  3. Good to understand how to remove flowers of primulas. Very interesting about the pots as never knew about what should and shouldn't be planted in terracotta. Would love to know how best to plant near roses that have aphids in a neighbours garden.

  4. Loved all the information provided, especially sweet pea, tomato and chilli seed sowing and the use of perlite and vermiculite. Also the use of propogators, heated or unheated. I would like to see future videos on watering advice, particularly when seed sowing. Very much enjoyed the primulas and explanation of the varieties and how they derived their names. All worth the watch.

  5. Thank you for the seed planting tips I’ve never had much success in the past but I’m going to have another go this year. I’d love tips on getting the best out of heavy clay soil or plants to add structure to a new garden.

  6. First time I’ve watched these video’s and what a wonderful surprise. The presentation is ā€˜learner friendly’, beautifully explained and warmly inviting. The information on germinating Sweet Peas and other seeds is invaluable and the other topics covered equally so. Primulas….I’ll look for them next time I’m at the Garden Centre. Small bundles of information in simple language. Thank you so much and Well Done.

  7. Not sure I'm keen on the deep sell pots & look like they would split. Prefer the simple pot method, use year after year simpler & quicker, that's just my preference. Informative information though and geed to see new products 🌻

  8. Excellent easy to follow basic gardening. Found this programme in January and now watched February. Very good.

  9. Really enjoyed this February edition video – my first. Some helpful planting tips and learnt some great information on primulas, pots etc. Looking forward to the March edition.

  10. First time viewer, what should the mix be between soil and either perlite or vermiculite 50/50 etc? thanks

  11. Enjoyed video, loved the spring planters.
Christmas seems so long ago now but I loved all the get togethers!

  12. Really loving these videos – so informative. Enjoyed the advice on sweet peas – will try this. I now better appreciate the difference between perlite and vermiculite
Perhaps for future – with a small garden and limited space – what sort of shrubs are suited and do well in a pot . Much appreciated. ā¤ļøšŸ‘

  13. Hi David, fantastic advice – I’d love to try one of those heated propagators. Happy sowing! 🪓 🌱

  14. Great to learn about Vermiculite and Perlite. I didn't realise the difference. I'd love a video on pruning and taking care of roses as I can never seem to get the hang of it.

  15. Would like a video on how to cope with bind weed and other weeds my garden is covered in lovely little yellow flowers but they seem to take over in feb but they do seem to go by the endof march april. Thank you.

  16. I adore sweet peas but so do snails/slugs and I have yet to find a method that works (bar chemicals) so it's just simpler to avoid growing plants that are just expensive snail/slug food!

  17. Another really informative video, thank you – next, I'd like you to feature geraniums – top tips to grow really healthy plants with lots of blooms.

  18. I don’t know what happened to my comment O well I will just have to write another one. Thank you David for a very informative video. I did plant sweet peas before but they dried out even though I watered them 😊

  19. Really informative video. I’d love to know more about gardening in small gardens. I’m trying to mix veggies with my flowers in borders. Not sure what I can grow vertically though.

  20. Being new to gardening this is such an informative video. Thank you David. In language a beginner can understand and follow. 😊

  21. Having just moved to a blank garden canvas, I am excited to get stuck in! I stumbled across your channel. I love this full on episodes. Feeling inspired!
One suggestion, how to garden around eyesores in your garden. We have a raised septic tank lid almost in the middle of the garden. If you have any ideas of how to hide things in your garden I would be grateful. Thank you

  22. I love these videos,I still have plenty to learn even though I'm in my seventies.I would really like to know about the planting and care of palms that can now be grown outside or in pots, thank you David for all your tips as well.
