so i made that setup a few days ago and i‘m planing to add cephalotus soon
here is how i made it: i rehydrated some spaghnum (40%),blended it, mixed it with peat (40%) and added some perlite (20%). on the bottom of the pot is a drainge layer of pumice so the soil doesnt sit directly in the water. The light i use is the good old sansi 36 watts.
what do you guys think? did i do everything correctly, should i add or change something? please share your thoughts and thank you for reading 🌱

I think it will be hard to keep it from falling apart when you go to plant the cephalotus. I am currently experimenting with growing grass first to stabilize the soil structure. A lot of photos of wild cephalotus are shown being supported by a clump of reeds or grass. I love that you’re experimenting and I would love to see updates on progress or if you find something that works
