Hey guys.

I recently got both sewers replaced and full foundation waterproofing.

Obviously as a result, my yard is completely toast.

The trench was 14 feet deep, so I'm assuming it'll take nearly a full 10-12 months for it to all settle appropriately.

The waterproofing guy is coming back for one more day today to get it all roughly graded out, and then will be back in the spring to get some grass seed down and knock down any high spots, but I'm assuming I'll want to probably rent a bobcat in the fall and work on getting it graded once again.

What's the game plan here? What type of grass seed should I be using?

This is in Ohio.

If a 14 foot deep trench was not compacted when back filled it will be sinking for the next 10 years.
