Im starting a bunch of of seeds indoors for the first time to bring outside in a couple months and these peppers are breaking my heart. first image is what i desperately hope is not spider mites, next two pictures are fully non spider mite successful germinations in the same soil same environment. im crying.

It could be mold(?)
I also think it’s mold. It’s the seed casing molding while the sprout grows out of it. I’ve never seen spider mite webbing look like that.
That is mold not spidermite webs, mold from too wet and poor air flow.
