My whale fin had this one leaf that grew sideways vs straight up like the others. I was always fighting it when I had to move the plants. It is on my south Florida patio so I move all the succulents to a covered area when rain is coming or I had to move inside when we had record breaking cold a few weeks ago. Anyway I decide to cut it off and try to propagate. I know to let it callous for a few days, but my question is whether to stick the whole leaf in the sandy soil or cut the top portion off like I’ve done with other snake plants. If I cut it off, how much should I leave on top? Thank you
