Any idea what could cause this? In zone 9b in San Bernardino County, CA. No changes in watering and haven’t fertilized maybe ever. It seems to be mostly mowed weeds with some grass in it.
Definitely something to do with soil compaction in the ruts of where the lawnmower drives. Probably holds less water in the compacted area and heats faster.
