I LOVE these Oxalis triangularis (Purple Shamrock) plants! I have two of them and one of them flowers all year. It's the happiest plant! It's right under a baseboard heater, but up against a cold window. It likes being watered every couple of days… just a little… and I love how it closes up at night and then opens wide during the day. Probably my favorite plant. Does anyone else have these? If so, how do you keep yours happy?

I have the purple and the green and I love them both! One of the most rewarding plants to grow! They’re in my cold bathroom with a grow light. They don’t need anything special to grow.
There’s a green one that blooms yellow too.I want to get one of those!
Big fan as well. I had some on the windowsill but they would reach to the glass and stick their flower on it.
I ended up digging up all my outdoor and indoor ones and storing the corms in the basement for spring planting. We will see what happens!

East facing window in a warm bright room. Very happy in this location. My other one which is a single corm in small pot is not so happy.. bloomed once and pretty weak foliage
