Bylaw support
As part of a team of Bylaw Enforcement Officers, you would be responsible for investigating complaints under the Neighbourhood Liveability By-Law. You will also follow up on compliance.
Seasonal meter reader
Do you have some basic plumbing knowledge and customer service experience? Consider our seasonal meter reader position. You will go door-to-door checking residents’ water meters.
There are two job postings available. If you are fluent in French, consider applying for the bilingual position.

Seasonal skilled labourer – water services
We’re hiring seasonal skilled labourers to help keep Winnipeg’s water system working this summer.
In this job, you will work outside doing simple checks and repairs. You will help with water meters and set up temporary water supplies. You will also let customers know about upcoming work and make sure work areas are safe.
This job is a good fit if you like hands‑on work, can use basic tools, and can work in all kinds of weather. You also need basic computer skills and customer service experience, because you will use simple digital tools and speak with residents while on site.
