I’m also in Texas and just started my seeds. I follow the normal starting recommendation of about 8 weeks out. My indeterminates typically grow ~10 feet tall and I drown in tomatoes. Is there any benefit to starting so early? I never did it because I heard it can stunt them when transplanted too late.

EDIT: Yeah I found [Veranda Red Tomato](https://www.burpee.com/tomatoveranda-red-hybrid-prod500835.html) and it says Start: February 04 – February 18. It’s an determinate so won’t it start fruiting while trying to be get established?
I’m just asking cause I honestly don’t know.
Those are the least leggy, thick stemmed tomato seedlings I’ve ever seen
