Hey, so I’m like relatively new to plants, I got a couple starters over a year ago and have been growing my collection since.

I recently started propagating some of them because I started to feel like some of my plants were getting big enough for me to do so.

I was successful with propagating a purple velvet plant and felt confident enough to try my mini monstera. It’s grown several roots, but in 3 different places, and each only has grown 1 thick root. After doing more research I think I misunderstood what a node was when first taking the clippings and this is where I think my problem is coming from.

Really I guess my question is what do I do with this? There one really thick fuzzy root growing at the bottom but just the one root, nothing else and I don’t know if that’s enough to plant with. And then if I do, what do I do about the other roots??

I’m a little clueless here so like genuinely any advice or questions are welcome and wanted😭😭 the last plant i propagated didn’t look like this at all when i planted it so I’m just so confused lol
