    Looks more like geranium macrorrhizum, maculatum typically goes fully dormant whereas macrorrhizum is usually evergreen to semi evergreen and doesn’t have those above ground spreading roots.

    Just to second the above — my Geranium maculatum typically is dormant and vanished by September much less winter.
