I've got some really leggy potato plants that arent fairing too well with the recent storms. Why so leggy? Too much nitrogen? I only used steer compost and EB spoil booster
Potatoes do that. They eventually fall over and die off. That’s when you harvest them (when the foliage is fully dead). How long ago did you plant them?

They are generally considered a vining plant. Nothing to worry about.
I would guess that you’ve got an animal climbing around in that bed though. 🤷♀️unless you’ve been pushing the plants around yourself.

Put more soil in/on them thats where the potatoes form.

My potatoes get trashed with hail every year, they look like hot garbage growing flopped over with half snapped off stems. I still get decent harvests.
