Hello! It’s my first time planting sweet basil. It’s already on its 2nd week, and i think its growth is too slow (or is it just right?)
I live in a tropical country and I water it at night, and during the day I move it to a place where the sun is (around 8-12hrs of direct sun).
Do you have any tips on how to grow them properly? I’m a bit worried that I’m not seeing any more growth lately 🥲

It looks on par accounting for germination time. When it’s larger in a few weeks it can go in the ground. Since you live within the tropics as long as your temps are above ~16 degrees celcius or 60 degrees Fahrenheit they can go in the ground. Watch out for slugs if that’s an issue.
You can also succession sow basil every couple of weeks. That way when it bolts you have an endless supply. Save the flowers when it bolts to save the seeds.
It’s very easy to grow basil. They just have their true leaves. Let them to grow at least 3 pairs of true leaves. Then you can seperate and repot them if you like.
When 3rd set of leaves grow, just pinch them. That will let your basils to branch. Continue like this for the new branches. In the summer you will have so much basil that you won’t know what to do with them 🙂
