Does anyone know what my Obesa is up to? I propagated it from the parent plant only 2-3 weeks ago and it's doing this. I've never had Obesa before so I'm struggling with this
Can we see the parent plant? It’s likely not an obesa, but a hybrid, as obesa typically don’t offset.

I have to say your pot is too big & the substrate is too organic. They need a good quality cactus mix with grit added. 50/50 mix. I use chunky pumice with zeolite & decomposed granite. I don’t believe it is an Obesa, more like a Meloformis variety such as E.valida. 💚🌵
