Finished the lower portion in June of last year, then September I added the upper terrarium with an integrated waterfall that runs through three mason jars foamed in the background. Each of which has plants rooted in them to help filter the water from the 29 gallon tank below. In November I flooded the lower land section to add more water volume. I have not had a single reading of ammonia or nitrites on any of my liquid water tests. Shrimp, guppies, rummynose and more all seem to be thriving. I just wanted to share my excitement in the progress. I would change some things if I had to do it all over again, but overall I’m happy and wanted to share with you!
