Last week I posted about the paver floor. With the advice from some of yall, I should insulate the floor. So I pulled all the pavers back up, placed down 1 inch polystyrene sheets and placed the pavers back. Pour sand and brushed it into the cracks to create a little extra stability. I think it turned out quite nice! Finally have everything off the counters and in their places. Built a removable table to place on top of the water barrels to maximize space.
Again, I appreciate all the advice given and welcoming comments. If there is more tips and advice, don’t hesitate!
Thanks again!

How do you attach the poly to the boards?
Nice job. Now start looking for a good 12″ fan with shutters and a powered shutter vent for the opposite side. Use a thermostat and humidistat to control them. This way you won’t cook your plants in the next two months. Fan at top, shuttered vent at floor level.
Also, if you were planning on trying the straw bales to plant in, now is a good time to get them setup outside and dosed with a high nitrogen or bale buster fertilizer. You can start your seedlings in the greenhouse while the bales start the compost process. I am doing the exact same thing right now using 60 bales of straw. I might even go higher in the next couple of weeks. Remember on the straw you need to use hot water if you are doing it in a hurry. I have about 6 weeks before I can even consider planting outside so am not having the same issues.
You could also start with a dozen self watering bucket setups for tomatoes, peppers, and eggplant and then move them outside when the weather allows. The self watering setups greatly reduce tomato skin splitting and will help eggplants and peppers grow faster.
One last thing, put some concrete tiles or dark stone on your benchtops, this will help seedlings germinate faster unless you are using heating mats.
Nice! Did you insulate the back and side walls too?
